Located in Cleveland County, NC Athena Dental Solutions was established in 2006 by Lori Hendrick as a crown and bridge laboratory. (We are NOT a Dental Office). Services were expanded to include clear aligners, occlusal guards, and custom abutments and screw retained implants. Our office address is 100 Bess Goforth Drive, Kings Mountain, NC and our clinical address is 511 North Morgan Street, Shelby NC.

In 2008, Lori expanded to include CE courses for dental providers. Courses offered include OSHA/HIPAA compliance, NC Radiography for Dental Assistants (NCSBDE approved) including Nomad/handheld radiography, local anesthetic courses, coronal polishing, substance use and mental awareness, MATE, and other courses which help you meet your renewal requirements.

On Nov. 1, 2021, Lori became certified to administer local anesthetic agents to dental patients for pain control. Immediately implementing this into our dental practice has been a game changer to help provide timely care to patients. Thus it was only natural to add local anesthetic courses to our list of CE courses. 

 

Athena Dental Solutions, LLC is an Academy of General Dentistry (AGD/Pace) and American Dental Association (ADA/CERP) approved provider recognized by the NCSBDE as a CE provider.

Athena Dental Solutions, LLC is an ADA CERP recognized provided since 2022. 

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

AGD PACE
Athena Dental Solutions, LLC is an approved AGD PACE Local provider (ID#410714). (We are currently in to process of applying for National Approval). 
Athena Dental Solutions, LLC is designated as a Locally Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state of provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from 11/4/2021 to 11/2/2023. Provider ID# 410714.
